MAKEUP ARTIST

BGL Magazine is searching for a passionate, organized, and talented beauty team (BT)! We are searching for an individual to fill the role as an ‘on-set makeup artist’ for the cover shoot of Issue 11 ; and is responsible for the following: 

  • Create a mood board for the overall makeup vision to coordinate with the BT & creative team (CT).

  • Attend 2 pre-production + 1 post-production meeting for CT coordination, edit/final look requests.

  • Arrive on set 45 minutes early to set up + begin work on talent.

  • Complete touch-ups on set. Use a BGL volunteer as your assistant when + if needed.

  • Take periodic rest + nourishment.

  • Maintain kind + efficient communication with guests.

  • Translate your authentic voice through the makeup while maintaining publication guidelines + values.

  • Make talent feel safe + valued.
